Recap and why I blog

I have decided to use my blog as my journal so I can remember and look back on what we have done. So if it gets to boring...I am sorry! :) I am going to try to do better and blog more often because I am so afraid that I will forget some of the milestones Jett reaches. I think I still have the pregnancy brain because I can't remember ANYTHING!

This past weekend we were SO busy, but then again we always are. Friday night was my brothers last football game... I can't believe he is graduating in May. Jett stayed with Aunt Chris and Uncle Terry while Neal and I went to the game. They played so well and won the game 47 to 6 against Coosa. My brother had a great game with some great tackles. I wish he had more games, I just love watching him play.

Cole with Mom and Dad after the game... can you tell dad was
freezing! It was so cold.

Saturday was the 1st annual New Salem Fire Department Car Show. We had lots of fun and got to see a lot of our really good friends... and of course Jett was there looking super cute! Saturday afternoon Neal went to his cousin Chris' house to watch the Bama game and Jett and I just hung out at home. Aunt Kerry and Cole came over and we went to Wal-Mart with them. Kerry spent the night with us... YAY! We love it when she comes home from school.

Neal feeding Jett his lunch... such a great dad!!

Lunch time... Eric, Kyle, Tyler, Reed, Gracie, Brian, Kenadi, and Dakota

Sunday was a lazy day... I had planned on getting up and going to church but Jett had other plans for us. We had a nap around 10 if that explains anything! Neal went to ride 4 wheelers with his friends and was gone the majority of the day. After we had our nap we went to Nanny and Pop's for lunch...yummy!!!

4 Months

I have been waiting to do Jett’s 4 month post until he had his 4 month well visit and he finally had it last Monday… I am way behind! I promise to do better this month but I feel like I always say that!! He has grown so much… I just can’t believe how big he is. He weighed 15 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 25 inches long…. And his head was 45 cm, Dr. Smith said that was off the charts! He wears a size 2 diaper and is in 3-6 month clothes and some 6-9 months! He laughs and smiles at everything, I think he is going to be a happy little guy! He chews on EVERYTHING… hands, toys, fingers, anything he can get to his mouth. He still nurses every 3 hours and has had Rice Cereal a few times and loved it. Dr. Smith told us today that we can start giving him baby food so that will be lots of fun! He rolled over this month and can roll from back to belly and belly to back… It is so fun to watch. He is very vocal and loves to talk…loud... He gets that from his momma! He makes the funniest noises, my favorite is his Dinosaur noise... he sounds like a Terodactyl. Neal and I are totally amazed by this child, we love him more than anything… he is our world!

Jett's 1st bite of Rice Cereal... he was not so sure!

It took forever to get a picture... he kept trying to eat the sign!
