8 months

I can't believe my little guy is 8 months old (about to be 9)! He has just grown so fast and gets more fun everyday.

• You weigh 21lbs and 14oz.
• You wear a size 3 diaper.
• You are wearing all different sizes of clothes... you can still wear some 6-9 months and then you wear some 12 month clothes. Most of your onesies are 6-12 months and they are getting snug... you have a precious little pot belly!
• You can say BAH BAH, DA-DA, and you started to say the "T" sound this month.
• You are still a big talker and I think you really enjoy hearing yourself because you talk LOUD most of the time! If your daddy is still asleep in the morning when you wake up you talk and pat his head until he wakes up! :)

• You have 7 teeth (4 on top and 3 on bottom) and know how to use them... you have become a bitter this month! You chew and bite on everything!
• I hate to admit this but you feel off the couch this month. I was sitting there right beside you and you flopped down on your belly and just kept going until you hit the floor.
• Thankfully we had to go get a shot that day so we got to talk to Dr. Smith about it. He actually said that you needed to fall off the couch a few times!
• You still LOVE to eat and will eat anything I put in your mouth (except for Gerber Green Beans and Mixed Vegetables). You just love all food!
• You have learned to blow rasberries and do it all the time.
• You are still a dancing fool... you love to dance and dance to any music you hear... commercials, the radio, whatever!

You are always making silly faces!

• You are so intreguied by everything, especially people. You are a people watcher.
• You started to sit in a big boy high chair when we go out to eat and you think you are a big boy when you sit in them!
• You still take a 6 oz bottle every 3 hours and you have your food sometimes after a bottle but most of the time in between bottles.
• You are still such a happy baby. You just seem to love everything and everybody... Your dad and I are so blessed to have the perfect child!
• You still love to give mommy kisses.
• You like to bang your head on my shoulder and make noises while you do this... crazy thing!
  
• You love to be the center of attention and believe me.. you are! If you aren't getting enough attention you will scream to make sure everyone looks at you!
• Your hair is still growing but it is taking its time. It is very light most of the time. I still can't decide between red and sandy blonde. You still have your little mohawk going on and your hair is growing with your mohawk! Maybe someday you will have a head full but I sure do love your mohawk!
• You are SO close to crawling.. I say you can crawl but you just haven't figured out how to get on your knees. You just do an army crawl but it gets you to where you need to go. You remind me of an inchworm!
• You still have to be sitting up at all times.. you hate to lay down! If we are home during the day you usually sit up in your highchair and play with all of your toys or you sit in the floor and get into everything!

Time is flying by way to fast... I can't believe that in just a few months you will be 1 year old! You light up our lives and we are so lucky to have you!
