PreSchool Fridays

Well it has been a VERY long time since I have blogged, but I have decided to try to make time for it! I love looking back on my past entries and seeing how much things have changed in such a short time! So today I just want to tell you what is going on today!!

Our big boy has been going to preschool on Friday mornings and he LOVES it! He is in the 2 year old classroom and he gets so excited to see his little friends every Friday. Unfortunately I am working this morning so I didn't get to take him but I just got this cute little picture from school, so I just had to share (sorry it is so small.. it is from a cell phone). Thanks Aunt Chris for taking him.

New Addition

Things at our house have been very busy the last few months. We are just now getting back into the swing of things. There are new things happening too, but I will have to fill you in on those later! Here are some pictures of our newest addition.... Riley Amon Shavers. He is perfect in every way.

May 29 my brother graduated from Dade County High School. He was SO happy because he never really was a big fan of school. I can remember the days when I was in high school and he was in elementary school and he would make himself throw-up every morning on our way to school! I seriously can't remember a time that he did like it!! We celebrated with a party afterwards with tons of friends and family but I didn't get any pictures. I was to worn out from trying to keep Jett calm during graduation!! Congrats Cole... we are proud of you!

My sister got married on May 22. Everything from the flowers to the hair turned out to be absolutely perfect. Jett and I had to make a trip to see the doctor that morning so we were running a little late all day but that is nothing new in my world. We were told to be there at 11 to start hair and all the fun stuff and I think Jett and I finally made it around 2:45! No biggy.... we made it! Poor little guy had a double ear infection once again! On with our busy May!! My sister got married on May 22 so we spent or 21st at their rehersal and dinner following. It was so cute. They had a "country casual" theme that was decorated with bandanas, daisys, and all things country. And the best part was we had Sticky Fingers BBQ which was divine!! Here are a few pictures from our evening!

Oh... and I forgor to mention Jett had been running a VERY high temperature since the night before so I can't believe how happy he looks in these pictures.

An Auburn Graduation

My sister graduated from Auburn Uinversity on May 14, 2010. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education plus Suma Cum-Laude (a 3.85 GPA or better). I drove down with my brother but left Neal and Jett at home. Neal had to work and I am so glad I didn't take Jett because the graduation was 3 hours long and it was SOO crowded and we were practically sitting on the roof!! I was so proud of my little sister! Now she is just trying to find a job!!!

May 9th

May 9th was our 1st "official" Mother's day (althought I was hugely pregnant last year)! I had to work that day but I got home around 3 so I did get to spend some time with my little guy! He also stood by all alone.. not holding on to anything! What a perfect present!
